isaiah washington is still retarded

Isaiah Washington is still pretty pissed about being fired from that show that people watch to see Katherine Heigl’s hot ass paraded across the TV – and he shared his thoughts with Newsweek (I love how the article is titled “Diary of an Angry Black Man”. Awesome!)

ABC asked Washington to go to rehab to deal with his alleged homophobia, which he did; he says he even paid half the fee. “I thought them sending me meant they actually wanted me to succeed and come out on the other end,” he says. Yet Washington now says that his “homophobia reprogramming” wasn�t exactly what it seemed. “There is no rehab for homophobia�that was just some crap being put out by the network,” he says. ” I went into an executive counseling program which many people in this industry know about and go to. They knew what the program was but chose to call it what they wanted to fit their agenda. And more importantly, I volunteered for it because I wanted to understand my fight with Patrick and how it got out of hand like that. I wanted to know what I could do to avoid it happening again.” ABC declined to comment.

The entire article is three pages, but basically comes down to brother thinking he got screwed because of racism. Now let me tell you that I’m the first one to agree that if, say, above-mentioned Katherine Heigl called that dude a fag people would giggle and laugh it off. I don’t know that this was entirely racially motivated but being a black man never helps your case, regardless of the issue.

However, Isaiah would be best to shut the fuck up about this and move on. How about you just go somewhere you CAN call people a fag and get away with it? Here’s an idea: Convince Dave Chappelle out of retirement, get Chappelle’s Show back on, and get a role on there. You can pretty much call people whatever you want on Comedy Central. Whatever you do, dude… good luck. But just get over this NBC bullshit already and move on.
