American Idol Season 7 is soon to be upon us (ugh) and of course you’re welcome to give it a shot if you’re in the USA and between ages 16 and 28. Here are the dates and locations:

Season 7 auditions schedule:

July 30, San Diego (Qualcomm Stadium)

Aug. 6, Dallas (Texas Stadium)

Aug. 10, Omaha (Qwest Center)

Aug. 14, Atlanta (most likely, the Georgia Dome)

Aug. 18, Charleston, S.C. (North Charleston Coliseum)

Aug. 22, Miami (AmericanAirlines Arena)

Aug. 27, Philadelphia (Wachovia Center)

Just FYI – if your friends tell you “you’re a really good singer” – they’re probably lying. If your family tells you that you’re a great singer, they’re definitely lying. Try standing in front of a mirror, staring directly into your own eyes and singing an entire album full of songs flawlessly. Once you can complete that, you’re ready to think about auditioning for American Idol.

Or you could always just show up and waste their time. Which is what every fatass that has had too many people trying to prop up their feelings by telling them they’re a great singer will be doing.
